I learned to play the recorder in grade school (what a surprise), but I actually never gave it up. My interest in the recorder only went up when my dad brought home a wooden base recorder (that he bought at a farm auction, of all places), whereupon I discovered the recorder could actually sound good.
I now own several recorders, ranging from the sopranino to the great bass. These are the recordings I’ve done with them.
These are tunes I came up with on the recorder, but have no idea what to call them.
A song I recorded on my bass recorder. I must have been in a glum mood at the time.
This would be one of the first songs I came up with when I first got my bass recorder.
I recorded this shortly after my cousin Duane’s death in 2008.
