These characters featured more prominently in my head than they did in actual roleplay. The BenDragon Brothers were a family of evil wolves, which was a bit controversial in the ROC because the one and only wolf that appeared in the actual novels was a pelt—specifically the one worn by the fox Urgan Nagru (AKA the Foxwolf) in The Bellmaker
I’m a little ambivalent about listing them. On one hand, these were villains written by the overenthusiastic hack I was in the early 2000’s; on the other... they were there. They caused their share of trouble around the ROC, and some people created BenDragon characters of their own (I still have a picture of Kammyln the Yellow, created by a gent named Luke Hanson, hanging on my wall), and there’s a picture of Kharack BenDragon in my art gallery.
Oh, and yes, their names follow the colour scheme of the rainbow, but it has nothing to do with alternate sexualities; I was unaware of the implications at the time.
Also, near the bottom of my site’s main navigation is the link to the site I ran as Borak Kindraco—called KinDraco Fortress, fittingly enough (it was originally called Wolvesbane Keep until I took it over).
According to the lore, all except Kabiathar and (of course) Borak were of the same litter known as The Seven.
The eldest and leader of the Brethren.
Eldest of the Seven, an undead vampire.
Leader of the BenDragons’s network of spies.
A evil sorceror.
The herbalist of the BenDragons.
A scholar. Lowest-ranked of the brethren, physically the weakest. However, well-versed in lore, and often headed up whatever research needed to be done, especially for Khandrakh and Olkran. He would survive the downfall of the Brethren and turn Goodbeast.
The Battleaxe of the Bendragons.
The head of the thieves and assassins.
A former servant of the BenDragons, and ultimately adopted into the Brethren. After the downfall of the Brethren, he would go on to forge his own destiny—as lord of KinDraco Fortress.
He was not part of the main group, but was one of the characters I came up with when my friends in the ROC wanted to continue with the BenDragon Family. According to the old message board The Shadow Collossus, he was the brother of Khorloc, and so the uncle of Kabiathar and company.
