I've been working with construction models for many years, and this is one of the earliest pictures I have as a Meccanoman in my own right. I use "Meccanoman" even though I've seldom worked with Meccano; the terms "Merkurman" and "Marklinman" aren't quite as widespread. Marklin (which is now defunct) is what this double ferris wheel was made of, Merkur is my favoured set.
