This is me at a show between 1995 and 1997 (Dave William's page is a little vague on the year), but this was when I was in high school anyways and after I got glasses, so I'm saying it's around 1996.
The steam turbine actually worked! I had tested it, and it worked fairly well.
The tilt-a-whirl, on the other hand, was a disaster. I didn't do the mechanics right, the gears wouldn't cooperate, and it was just awful. I rebuilt it out of Stokys later on, but I still want to redo this out of Merkur.
